Technology leadership for research institutions. Structure for people under pressure.

A smiling man with a bald head, blue eyes, and a beard, wearing a dark suit jacket, light blue striped dress shirt, and white teeth, in front of a softly lit background.

Under pressure and ambiguity, people do their best work when the structure is already in place. I have spent 25 years building that structure: technology strategy and governance for research libraries and universities, and more recently, software that helps individuals think clearly when the stakes are high.

I lead Client Services and IT Operations for Yale University Library and serve on the NERCOMP Board of Trustees. My work spans enterprise systems, digital workplace strategy, research computing, and IT governance, and it is grounded in a simple conviction: technology should help institutions and people focus on what matters most.
